Committees

AD2

AD2 is a committe within AAf Cincinnati and has its own leadership, its own projects, its own programs. But they are very much a part of us, working with us to help keep our members energized and up-to-date in an ever-changing industry. Membership is from 18-32 years of age.

ADDY® Awards Competition

The annual awards program recognizes creative excellence in locally created advertising. The committee is responsible for every part of the  competition — call for entries, judges, printed show book, presentation of show, and coordination with AAF Dist. 5 and AAF Nat'l ADDY Awards Competitions. This year the ADDY Committee will be deconstructed with multiple co-chairs responsible for individual activities

Club Achievement

Each year, the AAF honors top clubs in eight categories. This committee documents the club's activities during the year, creating notebooks for submission to the national competition (with its late March deadline).

Communications Committee

The Communications committee coordinates public relations efforts and serves as the central coordinator for all marketing communications to target markets - print, e-blasts, social media, phone calls and more.

Diversity & Multicultural Initiatives

This committee works to encourage minority participation in advertising, and to foster an understanidng and appreciation of the uniqueness of different cultures.

D┬▓Digital Conference

This person is the liaison between AAF Cincinnati and the Conference committee. The event is September 11-12, 2012 at the Horseshoe Casino.

Government Relations

The Government Relations committee keeps club members current on local, state and federal rules and regulations as well as pending legislation that impacts the advertising industry.

Membership Committee

The responsibilities of this committee include developing, increasing and maintaining membership

Programs Committee

Committee brings nationally recognized speakers/presentations to Cincinnati for luncheon and schedules other professional development programs for members & prospects.

Public Service Media Partnership

The Annual Media Auction, online since 2007, has been a major fundraiser for years. Business contribute media space and time along with advertising services for the Auction. New in 2013 we will be converting to a new concept with our Partnership Chair and the Public Service Chair working in tandem. The committee is responible for soliciting donations for use in the Media Partnership Campaign.

Public Service

The Public Service Committee creates and/or produces advertising campaign(s) supporting public service projects. This team is responsible for RFPs going out to appropriate non-profit organizations for participation in the Media Partnership Campaign.

Scholastic Relations

Committee serves as the club's connection with area colleges and universities by offering a College Career Day to cover careers in advertising/marketing, while fulfilling other professional involvement in area schools.

Social Committee

The social committee plans events for networking within the advertising community. Activities include Happy Hours, our Holiday event, outings to see local sports teams and more

Sponsorship Committee

The Sponsorship committee coordinates sales of all sponsorships during the club year - from Annual Sponsor Packages to individual Program Sponsorships to advertising within Membership Roster or ADDY Show Book. (Other committees — ADDY, Programs, etc. — work with Sponsorship to develop their own strategies.)
